Coffee Drop in at the Ritchie Hall

Tuesday, 10am - noon

No meetup on July 1 due to the stat holiday.

Come warm up and hang out at the hall on Tuesday mornings for “Coffee and Conversation”.

Meet a neighbour at the hall, or pop by on your own. Bring your wee one for playmat time, bring your neighbourhood stories, bring your studying, or bring a book.

Caregivers of little ones 5 and under are invited to bring your balls, run bikes and ride-on toys and let the little ones have 'free run' of our large hall. Coffee is on for parents.

Hosted by our Hall Manager, this is also a great time to chat with her about your upcoming rental or program idea, or to pick something up.

An RCL or other Edmonton League membership is required, and available to purchase on site. Supervision is not provided - parents are expected to stay in the space and monitor safe play. Hall Manager is present if there are any concerns.

NEED TO KNOW:

  • drop-in, no registration required

  • free parking in our lot

  • it’s FREE!

  • everyone is welcome!

Snow Angels

RITCHIE SNOW ANGELS

Let's help each other keep Ritchie's sidewalks clear and accessible this winter!

Ritchie Community League is encouraging you to become a "Snow Angel" and shovel sidewalks for our neighbours this winter.

Offering and asking for help are both important ways for our community to come together and keep our walks clear all season long!

OFFICIAL KICK OFF EVENT!

Join us at Ritchie Hall on October, from 11am to noon. There will be a short presentation about this program, and you will be able to pick up your shovel or register for assistance. Coffee, hot chocolate and sweet treats will be served.

LOG YOUR HOURS

Hey volunteers! We would really appreciate if all Snow Angel volunteers filled out a time sheet.

We track volunteer hours for grants, and to celebrate how AWESOME you are!

If you have general volunteering questions, or can’t access the time sheet, please check in with volunteers@ritchie-league.com and our Volunteer Support Team would be happy to help out.

West Ritchie Garden Meetup

Last Wednesday of the month @ 7 pm

Season Series: April 2025 - September 2025

Location: 7900 A 101 St NW Edmonton, AB T6E 0B9

Would you like to join our garden committee to help run the garden?

The monthly meeting will occur in the garden on the last Wednesday of the month. It is a casual, BYOB meet-up where we talk upgrades, priorities, issues, grants, and stories.

All RCL volunteers must be RCL members/associate members. If you’re up for it, volunteers will help make garden clean-up, grant applications, or Instagram management easier.

What we need:

A small monthly commitment (1-5 hours) during the gardening season

What you get out of it:

  • Your voice will shape the future of the garden, including how grants are spent, how maintenance is assigned, and more

  • You will be guaranteed one garden plot for your effort

  • If you need a letter or reference for your time, one will be provided

The best part? The garden crew is a lot of fun, and the people are nice. We would love to have you join.

For more information about the West Ritchie Community Gardens visit our info page

Email Hanna at garden@ritchie-league.com to sign up, or feel free to show up at the picnic tables around 7.

We will cancel or reschedule if the weather is particularly unpleasant.
