Come join Rashmeet for some Bollywood Dance classes to warm up the winter! Learn some fun new dance styles and make some wonderful dance friends!

Warm up your winter with the vibrant beats of Bollywood dance! 

Whether you're new to dance or a seasoned performer, these classes will guide you through the energetic and expressive moves that define Bollywood choreography. 

Learn routines set to iconic Bollywood songs, blending traditional Indian styles with modern flair, and bring some heat to the colder months!

Who: Adults (14+)

Full Semester (per student): $140+GST.

Renaissance Dance Class

Mondays, 6-7pm

September 23 – December 9, 2024

Step back in time and join us for an immersive class exploring the rich tapestry of historical dance styles! Experience the charming Inns of Court’s Almans and Pavanes. 

No prior experience needed. Invite a friend to join you!

Drop-ins are welcome

• $10.00 per class, $8.00 per class for RCL members

• Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing that is easy to move in

• Bring a water bottle

• Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult

Renaissance Dance Class

Have fun learning the joys of French circle dances. Enjoy the lively dances and delightful sounds of traditional English country dancing. Step into the rhythm of history and connect with others as you learn the graceful movements and lively steps that have captivated dancers for centuries. Learn the steps and patterns behind the dances in this exciting class!

Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a curious beginner, this class offers something for everyone. Why not bring a friend to dance with and enjoy the fun! Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to dance through time!

Instructors Jeanette Dunnett and Leslie Main Johnson

Jeanette has been dancing for 18 years and teaching for 15 years. Jeanette specializes in English Country dancing, though she teaches all four styles.

Leslie has been dancing for 31 years. She has 30 years of experience playing historical dance music. Leslie’s specialties are Almans, Pavans, and French circle dances, and she also teaches some Italian Renaissance dances.

Ballet With Your Neighbour

Thursdays 7:15 - 8:15 pm

Join our family-friendly Adult Beginner Ballet Class!

In this class you can learn the basics of ballet or get back into it for fitness, fun and artistry. And you can bring your kids 7- 17 years old to dance too!

Class will include a dynamic warm-up, some up-to-date progressive conditioning, barre and centre work and some accessible, satisfying choreography. While doing an out of the ordinary activity with your children and teens!

Class is also:

• inclusive

• respectful of your pace and body

• using imagery to improve your posture and alignment
