There is just one month to go in the Move for Mental Health Challenge.
In Ritchie, participants logged 3328 km last week to edge past Hazeldean; Ritchie’s total as of March 2 was 22,587 km compared to Hazeldean’s total of 22, 084 km.
Strathcona has broken the 10,000 km mark with 10,544 km in third place ahead of Bonnie Doon’s 9,202 km. There are 18 leagues competing for bragging rights as the most active league (some have teamed up under one league name).
The challenge, which fends of winter blues through exercise of all kinds, wraps up on March 31, so there is still time to support your league’s efforts and pool the distance you move with that of your neighbours. Together, apart, we’re getting through this crazy Covid winter.
