Cancelled Monday, April 15: Total Body Challenge and Zumba
If Total Body Challenge and Zumba at the Ritchie Community League are part of your fitness routine, take note! Both are cancelled tomorrow, Monday, April 15.
Total Body Challenge is cancelled until further notice due to low turn out.
As April 15 was Zumba’s last class for the spring session, it is on hiatus now until fall.
Ritchie sponsors comedy fest
Montreal has Just for Laughs.
North Carolina has Laugh Your Asheville Off.
And now Ritchie has Grindstone Comedy Festival.
The community league is proud its sponsorship is helping bring artists like Rebecca Kohler, a Canadian Comedy Award winner, and CCA nominees Graham Clark and Mike Delamont into the neighbourhood May 8-12.
For the full (and extensive!) lineup and tickets, go online at grindstone.ca.
Breaking down Ritchie’s finances
Some years, casino funds keep Ritchie in the black, while occasionally regular revenue can cover league costs. A look at the past fiscal year, April 2018 - March 2019 paints the picture. Keep in mind, this analysis was prepared using unaudited figures. For the official reckoning, come to the Annual General Meeting, May 23 at 7 p.m.
Spring soccer is coming
Online registration for outdoor soccer is underway. Follow up with a visit to Ritchie Hall Feb. 16 2:30 - 6 p.m. to finalize the paperwork.
