Ritchie trails Hazeldean by 595 km in mental health challenge

Leagues are to report their own results weekly by Sunday night. The above is a screenshot taken Monday afternoon, Feb. 1. For the most up-to-date results see the Results page.

Move for Mental Health is a simple challenge. Get moving. Keep the winter blues at bay. Break the bubble of pandemic isolation by adding your distance to others for community bragging rights. Donate, if you can, to charities helping others with their mental health.

One month in with two months to go, here’s where it stands, as of Feb. 1:

Hazeldean leads with 11, 630 total km

Ritchie is second with 11, 035 km

Combined, all leagues have logged 48,943 km toward a collective goal of 250,000 km

Stay motivated

An extra challenge…just for Ritchie members

If you have the financial means to make a donation, consider supporting the mental health of our neighbours. We’ve set up a donation page on CanadaHelps for these three Edmonton charities:

  • i-Human Youth Society

  • The Mustard Seed (Southside Shelter)

  • Momentum Walk-in Counselling

Help us reach our goal of $2,000 by March 31.
