It’s been just over a month since a temporary shelter for the homeless opened in West Ritchie and Ritchie Community League opened the conversation between neighbourhood residents, shelter staff and others. In this second online forum, we’ll check in to see how things are going.
The forum will also include the following:
A presentation by the Mustard Seed on its plan to add transitional shelter housing to its Neighbour Centre at 101 Street and 81 Avenue.
A presentation by Ritchie Community League on local initiatives to help residents staying at the Cessco housing site.
An open mike session for all participants to ask questions or make comments on any of these initiatives or related matters.
