Following the Public Health Order issued October 26 and the recent rise in COVID-19 cases in Edmonton, RCL is regretfully going to cancel our outdoor Halloween event.
All participants who signed up for a candy collection time slot will be notified and given the option to have treats delivered to their home. Any surplus candy will be donated to the Food Bank.
We thank the many businesses who helped support this initiative: Strathcona Spirits, Impact Safety, Terrawerx Mechanical and Accent Infills. And the many members and neighbours who donated candy!
The pumpkin contest will continue…with a few changes:
DO decorate a pumpkin as creatively as you can. It can be a real one…or not.
DO take a picture and upload to our Facebook page. (DO NOT drop your pumpkin off at Ritchie Park on Saturday morning. We won’t be decorating the park after all.)
DO check the Facebook page throughout the day and LIKE your favourite entry.
The gourd with the most LIKES will win a gift certificate from the Little Duchess Bakeshop.
The most LIKED non-gourd pumpkin will win a gift certificate from Farrow Sandwiches.
