Hello Ritchie Community League members (and future members).
The league challenges you to see whose outdoor light display can make the most people smile. Here’s how our friendly little competition will work:
By December 13
Decorate the front of your house, your balcony, your trees, anything you want to light up (in a safe way, of course) and submit a photo to events@ritchie-league.com along with your address. We will have a panel of judges check out your display to assess its originality, smile factor, use of space, and theme. Judging will be done in person so make sure your lights are on in the evenings. There are prizes to be won!
On December 20
We’ll map out walking tours based on your entries and invite the community to see the sights (more tour details to be posted here later).
Help us show the City of Edmonton what an amazing neighbourhood Ritchie is. Who knows? We may even have folks drive from across the city to take a look.
The Light Up Ritchie competition is open to all RCL members. If you don't have a membership, you can get one at Ritchie Foods (9604 76 Ave.) or online.
