Volunteer Support

The Volunteer Support Team works closely with the Volunteers and Membership Director to help create a robust volunteer network for the community league. For a more detailed description on what this team does, please see below.

Among its many tasks, the Volunteer Support Team helps:

  • Recruit volunteers

  • Host meet and greets

  • Onboard new volunteers

  • Plan volunteer events and fairs

  • Train new volunteers on how to use Basecamp

  • Collect and sell memberships

  • Coordinate with other directors to ensure their volunteer needs are met

  • Pair opportunities with volunteers

  • Organize volunteer appreciation packets and volunteer parties

  • Follow-up and gather volunteer feedback

Did You Know?

The Volunteers and Membership Director is responsible for recruiting league members and selling memberships, as well as coordinating with the Events and Programs Directors to ensure volunteer needs are identified.

They connect with RCL members who have identified interest in volunteering, along with soccer parents to fulfill event support needs.
