Looking for a family-friendly event this winter break? Come join us for a lantern-making workshop with Lynette Maurice at the Ritchie Community League on January 5 from 1-4 pm. All lanterns will be displayed at the Flying Canoe Festival February 1-2, 2019 and available to take home after the event. This year we plan to make an aquarium installation for the festival. Seven other community leagues are also participating so let's help make Ritchie stand out this year!
This event is ideal for ages 10+ but we will have a kids craft and art table for simpler lanterns available for the little ones as well.
*Donations of $5-10 will be accepted at the door to help us cover costs of supplies.
