The Hearts Album Release Concert with Shaela Miller

  • Ritchie Community League 7727 98 Street Northwest Edmonton, AB, T6E 5C9 (map)

The Hearts (Edmonton) and Shaela Miller (Lethbridge) - are teaming up for an old-fashioned hall party on November 10th at Ritchie Community Hall to celebrate the release of The Hearts’ new album, “Traces”.

$25 at the door.

The Hearts are known for their unforgettable melodies and moody harmonies. Their heartfelt Indie-folk/Americana songs are beautifully backlit by dreamy textures and earthy grooves. Their many creative explorations and adventures include indie chart-topping releases, music featured in MTV and HBO productions, award nominations, and performances at popular festivals in Canada and abroad including SXSW, Edmonton Folk Fest, Calgary Folk Fest, Interstellar Rodeo, and many more. The latest landmark for The Hearts, is the completion of their fifth studio album (‘Traces”) which they’re excited to perform for you.

The evening will also feature a performance by Shaela Miller (and her band). Her rising profile is being amplified by a sonic reintroduction to one of Canada’s best voices and most sincere stage personalities. On the heels of TV placements like HBO’s True Blood, CBC’s Heartland, top-tier festival circuiting, supporting Matthew Good’s tour, and the release of her beautiful album, “After The Masquerade”, The Hearts are thrilled to have Shaela fill the other half of the bill.

Sea Change Brewing and Shiddy’s Distilling products will be available for purchase at the bar - ID Required (non-alcoholic options available). A portion of bar revenue will go to support Edmonton’s beloved Winterruption YEG festival.

Advance tickets are being offered to Ritchie Community League members for a discounted rate of $19 (watch for an email from the league with promo code).
