Wheeling Alternatives: a Keeping Ritchie Green Learn and Share

Join Ritchie Community League’s Green Director Carly to explore different ways of getting around. There are so many! YegWheel will be on hand at Ritchie Rink Sunday with a unicycle. Plus there will be an electric skateboards and you can see what’s involved in converting a bike to an e-bike. All curious minds are welcome. And if you'd like to share your own tips and tricks (bike, skate, or scoot...even car share) please come out.

Bike Edmonton will have bike mechanics on hand to give your wheels a quick tune-up. Nothing in depth, just a peak at the main components. They are generous with advice so you can keep your bike rolling through summer.

This is the second Keeping Ritchie Green Learn and Share in a series planned by our Green Director Carly. (The first, in May, was all about trees!)

Every 3rd Monday, Ritchie Community League will present a topic or idea that focuses on Keep Ritchie Green then allow for discussion, sharing ideas and network. The topic could be related to you and your home, your travels or your yard. These are Learn and Share evenings area always FREE. Community League members from other communities are most welcome to attend.
Details will be posted as they become available, here on Facebook or posters at the hall.

Email environment@ritchie-league.com if you have ideas for other Learn and Share topics or speakers. Or volunteer to share your wisdom at one yourself!
