We'd like to thank our sponsors for the event which include Adara Hair, K&K Foodliner, Food in the Nuud and Hazeldean Bakery. Without support from organizations like these, this event would not be possible.
Who you’ll hear!
Kimberley MacGregor: A reformed bank manager who decided to launch herself into the music scene in 2013 was awarded Female Artist of the Year for 2015 & 2016 at the Edmonton Music Awards. She's currently working on a new album and we might get a preview of a couple of her songs. She's got heart and she'll change your mind about music with her stompin' feet, her badassery and sizzling soul. We're sure excited to have her part of our lineup.
Sam Heine: Sam Heine is a true Canadian rocker who loves to serve you drinks at a local Ritchie establishment by day and knock your mistletoe off the front porch by night. Sam Heine has performed at the Jasper Folk Music Festival and the Robison MusicFolk Festival among others. We don't know if he's bringing his acoustic or rock guitar but one things for sure, he's gonna rock the roof off Ritchie Hall and that's fine with us!
Kayla Hotte & Guest: At the age of 10 Kayla won the Western Canadian Mandolin Championship and picked up the guitar at age 13. She studied Jazz at Grant MacEwan University but always comes back to Bluegrass and old-time music. The Hotte family, in 2016, received an award of recognition from the Northern Bluegrass Circle Music Society and dubbed The First Family of Albert Bluegrass. We don't know which instrument, guest or genre she'll be bringing but she's sure gonna have us jumping out our sleighs by the end of the night.
