Senator Paula Simons to speak at Ritchie Hall Jan. 23

Artful dodger. Real estate tycoon. Chinese revolutionary. That’s the story of Moishe 'Two-Gun' Cohen...a (not-so) nice Jewish boy who travelled from London’s East End to Edmonton City Hall to the battlefields of Passchendale to a job as aide-de-camp to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen.

Join Senator Paula Simons Thursday evening, Jan. 23, to hear Cohen’s tale, in the second instalment of a Ritch(er) History of Edmonton speaker series, presented by the Ritchie Community League.

The former Edmonton Journal columnist and local historian has long been fascinated by the gunslinger-turned-revolutionary and what his often-unbelievable saga has to tell us about often-forgotten parts of Edmonton’s Jewish and Chinese history.

Come find out what’s true and what’s legend.
